Wonderland Animal Sanctuary rescues all types of animals and currently has dogs, cats, a horse, goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and a donkey. It has adopted out about 600 dogs and cats in its 10-year history. With a current animal population of about 70 rescued animals, this sanctuary needs financial support for food and vet expenses.

DOG AND CAT FOOD

Many pet owners in the mountains do not have the income to purchase commercial pet food, and therefore, they give their pets whatever edible thing they can. Pet food might be crackers or dry bread or noodles or even Jell-O.  ARFS wants to give dogs and cats the protein, vitamins, and minerals that commercial pet food provides. You can help us do this by going to our DONATE page, clicking on the CHEWY button, and sending a donation from ARFS's wish list.  Please help ARFS feed hungry animals.

INDIGENT PET OWNERS

The most pressing needs that ARFS receives are from pet owners who cannot afford the high cost of veterinarian services. They are left with two options: let their pets suffer or put them down.  ARFS is the third option.  ARFS helps pet owners get medical help for their furry family members.  Also, most mountain dogs and cats are not spayed or neutered, many because of the expense.  ARFS wants to eliminate the overpopulation of dogs and cats that results in homeless and hungry strays that live miserable lives wandering here and there.   ARFS needs generous donations to help pet owners care for the pets they love and to stop the abundance of stray dogs and cats.

KENNEL KINDNESS

One of ARFS desires is to provide chainlink kennels for dogs that are permanently chained. Many pet owners cannot afford to purchase a kennel for their dog. ARFS will provide the fencing materials and the volunteers to install the kennels. Since dog kennels are expensive, ARFS needs donors who will support our Kennel Kindness program. If you would like to sponsor a dog kennel for an impoverished pet owner, designate your donation for “Dog Kennels.” Together we can set dogs free from the bondage of chains.
